Just like what I said in the title. I asked in reddit and got several answers or solutions to help me. I don't feel like I am gonna watch it enough to get a subscription, but still want to watch it from time to time. I came across one free app called YoiTV, which airs Japanese television in real time. The key point is that they offer the re-run programs for 30 days. I lived in Japan for 6 years, and although my decision to leave was a difficult one, I have found myself missing the people, the culture and the language immensely. It was rather unexpected, especially how profoundly it has come to exert an influence over my psyche to this day. Currently I live in Spain, and for the past 8-10 weeks I've taken up studying and relearning Japanese seriously. There's a lot that I forgot about the language. I never obtained a high level of fluency in Japanese while I was there, due to work and time constraints and dealing with life in general, but I managed to get myself past an N5 'I can survive on my own' level. My grandma understands very little English and she used to watch TVJapan endlessly when she was at home. I know I can't get her TV Japan to her easily. I feel bad for her and I want to set up some way to watch any kind of Japan-speaking channels. I did recently buy an Amazon Fire Stick to try to set it up but I need to check how the nursing home WiFi is.  I know when I try to find some "outside" websites they would block it. If anyone has any suggestions then I would really appreciate it. I'm going to try with just the NHK WORLD-JAPAN app but I'm trying to avoid any news-only channels because I'm trying to shield her away from negative and repetitive news all day. I want to watch NHK news watch 9. I found a site called aqstreaming but they only support live streaming. Is there a site or an app where I can watch previous episodes?
