Where To Watch Japanese Television With Japanese Subtitle To Learn Japanese Language In USA

I usually listen to a lot of music, so if there's a song I really like, I'll listen to it 3 times if I have kanji, romaji, and English translations. 

Besides listening to Jmusic, I start to watch Japanese anime with Japanese raw subtitle, thus I can enlarge my vocabulary. YoiTV is really a good free app to help me with this. I can not leave it now!! Perhaps when the covid-19 danger is over, I will go to Japan for a vacation.

YoiTV - the free app, offers the service for watching Japanese TV live. It was primarily for my wife's monolingual Japanese parents to watch when they come to visit us at home in California. Free Resources for Learning Japanese - YoiTV App

I'm making this post to hopefully provide some useful tips and resources for someone new to learning japanese and who's lost on where to start. I'll go with the order that worked for me, but there is no right or wrong way to learn Japanese, and if something works for you then do keep doing it. A lot of "sections" it helps to learn in parallel, so don't take this as a step-by-step guide, more of a reference. 1. Hiragana and Katakana The website tofugu.com is wonderful at teaching them, and this is definitely where I would start 2. Grammar The best way I know of is this: https://guidetojapanese.org/learn/complete/ It does have a learning curve to it (it uses pretty complex kanji and assumes you know kana pretty well already), but it explains the material very clearly. 3.
