Anime Where They Aren't Afraid To Kill Main Characters

As the title says, anime where the show isn't afraid to kill of main characters or important side characters.. 

Something like attack on titan I would say, a show where there's actual tension building up and you're actually afraid to whether you're favorite character will make it out alive.. 

As much as I love One Piece, I hate how some dead characters come back alive through some random ass-pull.
