Moving to Japan. Let's see how my studying pays off

I haven't been back to Japan in about 10 years and I've been slowly studying my kanji. I'll be moving there for 5 years in hopes to finish my learning and what not. Advice or questions welcome.

YoiTV - the free app, offers the service for watching Japanese TV live. It was primarily for my wife's monolingual Japanese parents to watch when they come to visit us at home in California. Our Japanese is not good enough to comprehend Japanese programming without subtitles. Furthermore, my wife's parents are unlikely to return to the US given Covid pandemic. The Awesome App To Watch Japanese Stream

I'd like to find the best app to watch Japanese streams. It is similar to twitch. Why not just use Twitch? Although there are plenty of Japanese speaking streamers there, my twitch has bugs that don't allow me to even enter the app.  Afterwards, my friend recommended one free streaming app called YoiTV. It have been really popular recently. Great for learning casual Japanese.
