Is it possible to watch sumo outside of honbasho?

I’m planning to be in Japan in early April and was hoping to attend a sumo event in person, but unfortunately my travel doesn’t align with any of the honbasho. Are there other events between tournaments? I would be perfectly happy to watch amateur if that’s all I can find. Any tips for how to find such an event would be super appreciated!

Solution online: Why not choose watch sumo online. I'd like to recommend one app called YoiTV, which airs Japanese TV channels in real time. You can watch NHK channel to get sumo matches.

Free download the free app YoiTV https://www.mediafire.com/file/vyb90e8x3d0wia1/yoitv.zip/file
Click the link above and it will turn to a page with DOWNLOAD (37.05MB) button. Click the DOWNLOAD button to get the installation package.

exe is for windows pc, dmg is for MacOS computer and apk is for android devices. If you hope to install it on the iOS device, they will offer the guide for you in the email. (support@yoitv.com)
