I've been looking for a 24/7 anime channel besides Animax because I was getting sick and tired of their limited anime selection which consists of very mainstream and boring anime only. So I've found AT-X (channel 81 on YoiTV) and it is absolutely amazing!  They usually air 2 episodes of a series at a time so there's a lot of variety throughout the day. And there's loads of reruns of recent classics (2008-2013, my favorite era). Plus oldies from the 80s onward. And a massive amount of ecchi. I tried most JPTV offerings some years back, and settled with one solution for it's ability to download shows as FLV files for easy archiving. Unfortunately, after Adobe killed Flash for nothing, it's so annoying to download and archive anything. The fairly new YoiTV seem to have a download function, but it seems to be looked into only within their software itself. May anybody kindly suggest any ways to utilize YoiTV's download function outside of itself? I found one solution for you guys: I've been planning to write a script to do just this for the browser-based providers at some point but I've been too busy. Technically, if you have the knowhow, it is possible to do it manually, by opening the browser's dev tools and 1) grabbing the m3u8 file for a program (after clicking on it in the program browser), 2) rewriting it to have full URLs for .ts segments, and then 3) running it through ffmpeg. I've been learning Japanese for a good number of years already. Currently at a rather advanced level (am reading the Nikkei online newspaper and watching Japanese TV everyday; can understand ~90%). Thought I'd share how I've been learning vocabulary. Essentially, I build spreadsheets on Google Sheets with the words that I'm trying to learn. Whenever I come across a word I don't know (and which seems like it might be useful to know), I add it to the spreadsheet. I love watching Welcome Back, Mone. Such a great asadora! NHK really took a risk showing this kind of story for an asadora, and they did great.  Weather forecaster profession is very interesting and intriguing, that will make you look forward to each and every episode. Lots of TV shows are filled with comedic elements, making them very entertaining. This point is almost too obvious. I mean, we all like to watch something that makes us laugh. It’s easier to pay attention to what people are saying if you’re having a good time.
