Hard To Get NHK

I don’t understand why NHK broadcast is so difficult to get. I am in the US. I would love to watch some NHK and listen to any ski. I can’t figure it out.I hope carry Japan TV subscriptions that has NHK. Even I am willing to surrender my current account and buying a new subscription to get NHK.
