I really like sad (think heart-wrenching or meaningful) anime like: Orange, A Silent Voice, Anohana, Plastic Memories, etc. I don’t care what genre but I mostly watch slice of life.

Here’s the ones I’ve already seen: 

Orange, A Silent Voice, Anohana, Plastic Memories, Angel Beats, Your Lie in April, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, In This Corner of the World, A Lul in the Sea(not really sad but kinda was), Akame ga Kill (also not really sad but some parts really hit), Ride Your Wave, and Given.
