An Attempt at learning Japanese Again

I lived in Japan for 6 years, and although my decision to leave was a difficult one, I have found myself missing the people, the culture and the language immensely. It was rather unexpected, especially how profoundly it has come to exert an influence over my psyche to this day.

Currently I live in Spain, and for the past 8-10 weeks I've taken up studying and relearning Japanese seriously. There's a lot that I forgot about the language. I never obtained a high level of fluency in Japanese while I was there, due to work and time constraints and dealing with life in general, but I managed to get myself past an N5 'I can survive on my own' level.

My lack of Japanese is something I've come to desire to remedy. It's a way of getting in touch again with my experiences there. The language, and all the culture that comes with it - such as watching movies, anime, listening to music, reading up about cultural practices and the history - is a way for me to stay close to something familiar that has become an integral part of who I am today.

After asking this on reddit, I got several replies. Among these, I got one free app YoiTV, which airs Japanese TV channels in real time and has the re-run programs for 30 days. Really amazing.
