Getting Japan Television Channel for my grandma

My grandma understands very little English and she used to watch TVJapan endlessly when she was at home. I know I can't get her TV Japan to her easily.

I feel bad for her and I want to set up some way to watch any kind of Japan-speaking channels. I did recently buy an Amazon Fire Stick to try to set it up but I need to check how the nursing home WiFi is. 

I know when I try to find some "outside" websites they would block it. If anyone has any suggestions then I would really appreciate it. I'm going to try with just the NHK WORLD-JAPAN app but I'm trying to avoid any news-only channels because I'm trying to shield her away from negative and repetitive news all day.

Thanks to the app YoiTV, which airs Japanese TV channels and no VPN is required. That is really what I want now.
